I have hope in magic.
hope in the rules,
hope in angels,
and hope for the fools.
I have hope in the continuous
turning of the earth.
I have hope for the sunrise,
for the sky, and the dirt
I have hope forever
and all it can be.
I have hope in my ignorance
that one day I can see.
I have hope in the ocean
whose tides are the route.
I have hope in the moon,
and the light that never goes out
I have hope in the forests
that show me the way.
I have hope in the darkness
that it will lead to a new day.
I have hope in life,
whose circle is ever being.
I have hope in my heart,
in it’s eternal beating.
I have hope in the stories
of the Big, Great Beyond.
I have hope in love
and its eternal bond
I have hope in the nectar
that the flowers will bloom,
and hope in the snowflakes
that cold doesn’t mean doom
I have hope in tears,
that fall down from sad faces,
that the lessons learned past
will lead to new places.
I have hope in the sky
with its bright blue glowing.
I have hope in the stars
who seem ever knowing.
I have hope in the fire,
as the embers grow dim,
because from the ashes
a new flame of hope will begin.
