Crossroads IV Photography Showcase

The Tupelo Press Teen Writing Center hosts a photography contest each year in tandem with our teen writing contest. In 2016, our students’ work will be on display in Splendora’s Gelato Cafe for the month of June, listed as a local event for the international LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph, with a First Friday opening on June 3rd from 5:30-7:00 pm.
Forty-five students from ten high schools submitted work to be considered for the Crossroads IV Black and White Photography Contest. Judged by Pat Jarrett, photojournalist and videographer of the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities Folklife Festival, our contest winner is Abby Davis from Monticello High School for her winning photograph, “Leaf Face.”
